Why the desk does not publish payout figures
Payout figures change weekly, vary by payment instrument, and depend on the verification status of the test account. A static figure would mislead more than inform. The reading is qualitative, not numerical.
What the desk looks for
The desk looks for four things during the four-week reading: the verification queue depth on day one, the average queue depth during week two, the platform's response time on a mid-week ticket, and the actual arrival of funds in the linked account on a weekend withdrawal.
The verification queue
A platform with a clear queue depth, a queue-time estimate, and a "your file is in line" indicator is doing the work. A platform that hides the queue behind a customer-care chat is not. The desk does not enter a platform that hides the queue.
The withdrawal window
A platform that publishes a withdrawal window (for example: "UPI withdrawals clear within 4 hours") is doing the work. A platform that says "as soon as possible" without a window is not. The desk tests the window by triggering a small withdrawal on a Friday afternoon and timing the arrival.
What the desk publishes
The desk publishes a qualitative reading, not a numerical figure. The reading covers the four items above and notes any failure. The reading is updated every quarter with a fresh four-week test.
